DOG DAY CARE
Let your dog enjoy the comfort and luxury of The Dogwood Pet Resort while you are on the go and out of your home!
From 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., our dog daycare service provides a safe and enjoyable place for your dog while you’re out taking care of day-time errands, or while the carpet cleaner is working away at your home. Your dog gets to socialize, and you get to relax knowing all is well for your dog.
Weather permitting, outdoor activity time is 2 ½ hours each in the morning and afternoon. Every effort is made to group your dog appropriately with similar dogs so the experience is fun for them!
Our outdoor activity area features a specially designed artificial lawn to help keep your pet clean and provide a healthy environment.

DOG BOARDING

We provide both short and long-term care for dogs and cats. Upon request, dogs from the same family can be boarded together.
Your dog’s comfort and safety are our #1 priority.
With a hospital grade industrial air exchange system to help keep our facility clean and sanitary, your dog will feel right at home.
Every dog run has a heated floor to help your dog stay warm, dry, and feel secure. Runs are thoroughly cleaned daily, and sanitized between each pet visitor.
Unless otherwise requested by you, all dogs are walked or put in an outdoor run daily for their health and enjoyment.

CAT BOARDING
If your cat is like most cats, he or she wants a peaceful spot to feel safe and secure.
The Dogwood Pet Resort has designed the perfect accommodations for your feline friend. Featuring multi-tiered individual accommodations, our cat boarding is in a room all to itself. There are no dogs to annoy or upset your cat.
Quiet and peaceful, each kitty has their own suite including a view to the outdoors so each cat has the pleasure of seeing nature to help sooth their soul while they visit us.
Litter is changed or cleaned daily, and your cat is fed according to your instructions.
Each cat gets time to roam the room for a limited amount of time every day, one cat at a time (unless they are from the same household.)
Bright, clean and well ventilated, our cat boarding facility is second to none when it comes to comfort and safety.

DOG GROOMING
Our professional groomer, John Cline, at The Dogwood Pet Resort is dedicated to being kind and loving toward your pet. He will give your pet the best, and most loving “spa day” possible!
We offer complete, all-breed dog and cat grooming with both large and small dogs welcome.
Services include:
- Bathing
- Nail Trims
- Fancy Cuts
- Summer Shave Downs
- Flea, Oatmeal, Hypoallergenic, and Fragrance Free Shampoos
- Therapeutic Shampoos (supplied by client)
- Cream Rinses
All services are done while keeping your pet as comfortable and content as possible.
We are not a high-volume grooming shop…we prefer to take all the time needed to do work you’ll be pleased with.

DOG TRAINING
Treat your dog (and yourself) to the best relationship possible!
Offering positive puppy and dog training for dogs of all ages and sizes, Colleen Myers has trained dogs for over eight years with great results.
Involving the both the dog and human companion, she utilizes the positive re-enforcement method of dog training.
Both individual and group training sessions are available.
